Over the years, we see that challenges are growing in issues related to the Holocaust.

Among other things:

• Less and fewer survivors are living today, and soon no one will give up who will tell the first person what happened.
• Waves of anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial in the world are increasing, which may rewrite the Jewish historical story.
• Generations are changing, and different means are needed to convey the message and the educational content.
• The organizations and associations involved in the issue need technological support.

To this end, in May 2018 we produced the first Hackathon event in favor of these issues: 120 wonderful people left everything and came to give 30 intensive hours. The result was amazing: 23 projects have been established, of which 3 are active and contribute real value to this day.

So this year, too, we chose to create another event and harness the wonderful people of the start-up nation to Hackathon, whose goal is to develop technological solutions on these important issues.

Goals of the event
Creating a significant event that will share different sectors in the process of creating solutions, not just during Holocaust Day.

Finding solutions that are applicable to the challenges of education, commemoration, and quality of life of Holocaust survivors.

The challenges
Together with our partners, we have identified challenges that are relevant to working on the Hackathon platform.

Some of the challenges are abstract and general, and some are very specific.

You, the participants, may choose to work on your own venture on the subject, or choose a challenge from the list.
