ABOUT

Hello World! Hello Everyone!

I am Avi Sherwood, and this article provides a glimpse of what we do.

On our platform codesign.blog (CDB) which is the world’s most updated blog for technological and scientific conferences and events. This platform is based on science and technology which connect all the relevant and essential professionals in the scientific and technological industry.

The principal founder The principal founder is Avraham David Sherwood. Mr Sherwood is a design engineer, data scientist engineer and graphic designer in his professional training, from the Technion and Tiltan College. Sherwood completed his studies in applied mathematics and computer science in an autodidactic way from the Technion, and even participated in various theoretical and practical workshops at leading universities in Israel: Hebrew University, Bar-Ilan University, Ben-Gurion University and Weizmann Institute of Science. Today Sherwood is a researcher scientist at a private and independent research institute he founded.

Sherwood received his greatest inspiration in this field of design engineering as a child from the three science giants, namely: Archimedes, Galileo Galilei and Isaac Newton.

Our vision is to deeply add value through solving difficult and challenging problems, in a creative and innovative way.

Our mission is to development of Artificial Intelligence systems (AI) based Human-Computer-Interface (HCI), tailored to the Human-Centered-Design (HCD) to creates a shared culture and a better future for all of us.

The Engineering Design Process

ASK: Identify the Need & Constraints

Engineering teams raise critical questions about the product they plan to create. Questions should include the type of problem, the nature of the design, the planning goals, the project requirements, the project limitations, the budget at our disposal and the ultimate goal.

Researched The Problem

This process involves talking with professionals from different backgrounds and specialties to assist with the research process. Through this process, you can map project needs for locating existing products or solutions and which technologies we will need for product realization.

IMAGINE: Develope Possible Solutions

This step is for brainstorming and raising ideas to develop as many solutions as possible. This is the best time to offer wild ideas and most importantly not to be judgmental. It is advisable to use the ideas of the other team members, stay focused and have one conversation at a time for the reason that this stage can be confusing and easily lost. The guiding rule is that good design starts and ends with good teamwork.

PLAN: Select a Promising Solution

This is the most difficult stage because needs need to be re-examined, mapped to the constraints, and relied on the research we did in the previous steps. It is advisable to compare the successful ideas, refine them and select only one solution, define a detailed work plan and move forward with it.

CREATE: Build a Prototype

Now we have reached the stage of building the prototype. This is the stage where the idea becomes reality. Incorporate creativity and innovation that will help your engineering teams verify whether the design actually meets the original challenge objectives. Remember that imagination, creativity are the key to design excellence.

Test & Evaluate prototype

That is, we have reached the almost final and final stage. Now we need to check if the solution we were working on really works? Does it solve the need and meet the challenge objectives? Create feedback forms and share between different participants, pass the results and learn the feedback. Have professional discussions and analyze them to understand what is not working and what can be improved.

IMPROVE: Redesign as Needed

Well done, you have reached the final stage of the engineering design process. Now think about how you can improve your solution. Make the necessary repairs, draw more sketches to perfect versions and incorporate innovation into your thinking process to make your product the best it can be.
