Hacking Deep Learning Conference • BIU 2019
In light of the success of the conference last year and the great interest in the subject, the Center for Applied Cryptography Research and Cyber Security will hold a second conference on Hacking Deep Learning.
The conference will take place on Tuesday, 22/1/2019 at Auditorium C50, on the entry level of the Nanotechnology Building at Bar-Ilan University. The organizers of the conference are Dr. Yossi Keshet and Prof. Benny Pinkas.
The conference is intended for academia and industry. The Academy is invited to participate in a conference of researchers and graduate students from Computer Science, Mathematics and Engineering.
Leading lecturers from abroad and from Israel were invited to the conference, and a detailed schedule will be distributed as soon as possible.
We would appreciate it if you would distribute the conference to anyone who could take an interest in the subject.
Participation in the conference is subject to pre-registration and is 150 NIS.
Registration deadline: 10/1/2019
We look forward to your participation.
Recorded lectures from the conference held last year:
- Hacking Deep Learning: Security and Privacy in Machine Learning- Nicolas Papernot
- Deep Learning in the Land of Adversity: Attacks, Defenses and Beyond- Moustapha Cisse
- Hacking Deep Learning: What is in the Human Voice? Profiling Humans from Their Voice – Rita Singh
- Hacking Deep Learning: Differential Privacy and Collaborative Learning- Anand Sarwate

About The BIU Center for Research in Applied Cryptography and Cyber Security was founded as part of a national program, sponsored in part by the Israel National Cyber Bureau in the Prime Minister’s Office. The primary aim of the center at Bar-Ilan University is to promote and carry out first class academic research in the fields of applied cryptography and cyber security, and to train graduate students to become the next generation of leaders in the field. The center also promotes collaboration with both industry and government on cutting-edge research questions.
The center is headed by Professors Yehuda Lindell and Benny Pinkas, and consists of faculty and students from the Computer Science, Mathematics and Computer Engineering departments. The main focus topics of the center are (a) applied cryptography, (b) applications of machine learning, artificial intelligence and natural language processing to cyber security, (c) hardware attacks and defenses, and (d) system and network security.
